Native American Spirit, PAMOLA Is the guardian of Maine's tallest peak, Mount Katahdin. God of Thunder, Wind, Snow & Storms, PAMOLA is both feared & respected by the local Penobscot Indians. He is described as having the head of a moose, body of man, and wings & feet of an eagle.
Although considered dark & fearful, his presence is necessary to ward off the evil of man - nature's greatest enemy. Giving caution to the most seasoned climbers, Mount Katahdin has become taboo to climb. Fashioned with leather, feather & hematite .
